We're back with another installment of the Arcade Spotlight! This time we're travelling to Chicago, Illinois, home of da Bears, da Bulls and da bars filled with arcade machines. Like this one!
It's been over a month since our last Arcade Spotlight and for that, I apologize. I've been hunting for arcades online and the ones I find have no website, no pictures, no nothing. They exist, but it's tough showing them off. Luckily, I had no issues when it came to finding info on Robot City Games in New York.
It's been a while since our last Arcade Spotlight, but that isn't my fault. Arcades are closing left and right and it's tough finding ones that have a decent website. Lucky for me, and for the residents of New York, there's a brand spanking new pinball place that just opened to the public!
One of my dreams is to open up an awesome retro arcade here in Los Angeles. The arcades we do have are terrible. Broken, run down machines in an environment where dirt is more welcome than customers. When my pipe dream does come true, I hope to model my arcade after Yestercades. A cool place we had to feature in this edition of the Arcade Spotlight!
While some of you threw hamburgers on the grill, or sat on an inner tube for eight hours getting sunburned for Labor Day, a few people spent their holiday weekend doing what every American should be doing with their day off -- spending it in an arcade! And this Arcade Spotlight focuses on a cool gaming place in Columbia, MO.
It's been over a month since our last Arcade Spotlight (hey, arcades are getting hard to find), but this latest gaming nugget we ran across is a good one. Ever heard of Gobles? We haven't either. But they have a sweet arcade!
Another Arcade Sushi Arcade Spotlight is here! Just in time for the 4th of July weekend. Put the kids in the car and head on down to Alameda, CA. where an awesome arcade resides.
Our Arcade Spotlight features returns, this time focusing on a big gaming establishment in Florida that loves games, beer and apparently cheerleaders. If this were a prison, everyone would commit a crime just so they could be locked up here. Take a look at Gametime in this week's Arcade Spotlight!
