We're back with another installment of the Arcade Spotlight, and this time we're going bowling so we can play some games. Confused yet? So are we!

A brand new place opened up in downtown Los Angeles called XLanes in the Little Tokyo district. How new is XLanes? So new that I live in LA and just now discovered this place existed. XLanes opened on May 30th to little advertisement. LA already has a Dave & Busters and a place called Round 1 (which I'll cover sometime in the future), that's a combination bowling alley, arcade, karaoke, car wash, furniture store, etc. etc.

While XLanes doesn't appear to do anything new, it does help keep the arcade alive, and that's the most important thing. Even though XLanes is mostly ticket redemption games, they do have some regular cabinets and arcade machines for those of us who like playing machines that don't spit out yellow pieces of paper.

Take a look at what XLanes offers in the pics below. While it's not a full-fledged arcade just yet (hopefully they'll add more actual games), we'll take what we can get here in arcade-starved Los Angeles. Because this isn't Bowling Alley Spotlight, I'll just focus the pics on the games.
