PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to download two puzzle titles, a role-playing game, a first-person shooter and a couple of bizarre (but good) platformers for the month of August.

The PlayStation Blog has announced what games PS3, PS4 and PS Vita will be able to download for free with a PS Plus subscription. Those without all three consoles are in for some luck, because a few of these games offer cross-play capabilities across other platforms and can be downloaded for multiple systems. PlayStation 4 subscribers will be able to download Road Not Taken and Fez. Fez is a gorgeous, pixelated and imaginative 2D platformer mixed with 3D mechanics. You can also download and play Fez on PS3 and PS Vita. Road Not Taken is a puzzle/strategy game where you must survive a harsh forest while saving the children lost in the woods.

PlayStation 3 subscribers will be able to download Crysis 3 and Proteus for free. Crysis 3 is a sandbox FPS, and Proteus (also downloadable on PS Vita for free) is an beautiful title where you explore randomly generated islands. PS Vita players will be able to download the brand-new puzzle/platformer hybrid, Metrico, and the side-scrolling RPG, Dragon's Crown (also downloadable on PS3). Dragon's Crown will let up to three friends help you explore its dungeons, and you can party via Cross-Play between PS3 and PS Vita players alike.

All of these games will be available for free for PlayStation Plus subscribers starting Aug. 5.
