Divinity: Original Sin Continues Kickstarter Momentum With New Goals
Life is good for Divinity: Original Sin, as the RPG title has surpassed its $500,000 Kickstarter stretch goal. The campaign ends on April 26th, and Larian Studios has easily exceeded its initial $400,000 pledge target. Still, there are more stretch goals to attain!
Upon reaching its $500,000 stretch goal, a new area will be created called the Shelter Plane at the End of Time. This place will serve as a shelter where characters can take a rest from all that fighting. Players can also try their hand at interior decorating, as they have the option of customizing the area as well.
Now with every 1,000 Kickstarter backers added to the campaign, the developers will expand the lair of the monster in the Phantom Forest. "For every thousand extra backers that pledge from here on out, a new level full of pitfalls, threats and riddles will be added," said the Kickstarter post.
The next stretch goal for Divinity: Original Sin is at $650,000, and if the game hits this mark the developers will create more talents to shape gamers' playable character. One of these talents is the ability to talk to animals!
