An article on Eurogamer reports that BioWare Edmonton and Montreal boss Aaryn Flynn has recently discussed a potential remake for the Mass Effect trilogy and has even polled fans on what features they'd want in such a remaster on NeoGAF.
Flynn himself listed features he'd want, which was a mix of his opinions and that of people who have spoken with him. These features include the following:
- 60 FPS
- High-res textures, especially in ME1
- Shader improvements that take advantage of new GPUs
- All pieces of downloadable content.
- A "seamless experience" in which all of the games flow into each other without the need for importing saves.
