The Walking Dead
Telltale's The Walking Dead may have left us emotionally exhausted, but we've all been craving more of that world ever since the developer announced a second season was in the works. Though it'll be some time until that second wave of episodes comes along, that doesn't mean Telltale can't explore other stories in the universe by way of downloadable content. With The Walking Dead: 400 Days, Telltale has given us all another little taste of moral ambiguity in the face of a zombie apocalypse. Despite only having one episode to get its points across, 400 Days reminds us all just how masterful Telltale's storytellers are.
The Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) can be a maddening and soul deadening experience, thanks to the sea of media, gamers, and industry folk who inhabit the Los Angeles Convention Center. Being a middle-aged gamer who still yearns for his Atari days, I prefer quiet sit downs with developers and publicity reps as they discuss their latest offerings. With that in mind, I was more than happy to check out The Walking Dead: 400 Days, the highly anticipated downloadable content from the The Walking Dead: Season One.
Fans who are waiting on bated breath for more content from The Walking Dead should be heartened with recent news from Gary Whitta. In an interview with IGN's Up at Noon program, the Walking Dead writer revealed that although season two is still in production, gamers may get their zombie fix sooner than later.
