Last year, Nintendo made a big deal about being not just another kiddie console at E3 2013. We got to see shooters and action games and Batman Arkham City, and all sorts of titles that the hardcore gamer would drool over. This year? Not so much. In fact, the only hardcore title available to play at the Nintendo booth was the much awaited Bayonetta 2.

Konami and Platinum have teamed for yet another installment of downloadable content for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. While the first add-on gave us a chance to play as antagonist Jetstream Sam, this new content features Raiden's computerized canine companion, LQ-84i (aka Blade Wolf). Those hoping for a more engaging or robust experience than was previously delivered in the Jetstream Sam DLC sho

Due out next week, the Blade Wolf add-on for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance will let you play as computerized canine LQ-84i.

Though Raiden's adventure may be over, Platinum Games and Konami are keeping Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance going with new downloadable content featuring some of his co-stars. The first add-on gives us a look at Desperado assassin Jetstream Sam, and tells the story of how he came to be a mercenary for hire. Unfortunately, it's not a very interesting tale.

The next add-on for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance will star Raiden's computerized canine companion LQ-84i (aka Blade Wolf), and is due to arrive on May 9th.

Anarchy Reigns is kind of like a gory multiplayer cameofest. The “main character” is Jack, from Mad World, a little known murder simulator that really made a splash (of blood) on the Wii. Now, another well-known Sega/Platinum Games character is coming to the Anarchy Reigns battleground: Bayonetta.

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance's second downloadable content pack is now available for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Two more downloadable content packs for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance will be available starting in April.

Free DLC is something of a rarity these days, but Platinum Games is just giving away some new PS3 Exclusive DLC.

There have been Metal Gear video games in the past that strayed from the traditional stealth action formula that’s made the series so wildly popular. None of them quite hold a candle to the extremes Platinum Games’ Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance goes to deliver its one-of-a-kind experience.
