Two more downloadable content packs for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance will be available starting in April.

We first learned of the additional story content coming to MGR this past February, but Konami revealed the release month on Thursday. One of the planned add-ons will focus on Jestream Sam, and take a look at his actions prior to encountering Raiden in the main game. The other will add a playable Blade Wolf, who will also get his own unique side-story.

On Tuesday, 30 free VR Missions were released as DLC for the PlayStation 3 exclusively in the U.S. (though they did hit other consoles in international territories). Konami's and Platinum's continuing support for this off-shoot of the Metal Gear Solid series is a nice treat for fans, and both new packs sound rather interesting.

The Jetstream Sam and Blade Wolf DLC will be available on the PS3 and Xbox 360 for $6.99 (560MSP) each.
