The mods for Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes get even zanier as players have found out how to substitute the game's character models in for its local wildlife.

Kotaku reports that modders of the PC version of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes have been pushing the limits of Kojima Productions' Fox Engine in a way nature never intended. A few days ago, we reported that modders were able to swap the in-game models of any characters in the game to the user's preferences. Have Chico's body swapped with Big Boss so it's Chico rescuing Snake during the cage cutscene? Walk around as Hideo Kojima or Kaz Miller instead of Snake? Sure, why not.

Modders have found that they are also able to swap out the game's wildlife for human character models. If you check the GIFs below and the provided video, you'll see Kaz Miller flying around as a bird -- arms flapping and all. It's even weirder when you swap out all the rats for soldiers as well. This makes us wonder just what will be modded in the PC version of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. We're sure substituting Miller for Snake's horse is going to make some twisted kinds of fan fiction come true.
