Fans have modded the PC version of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes to make the series' creator and director, Hideo Kojima, a playable character.

Kotaku reports that Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes was modded to let players swap out Big Boss' model for others characters in the game to have them act as the main character. Since Kojima was already a hidden secret in the game, all players had to do was swap out Kojima's in-game model for Snake's. As you can tell by the videos below, things work almost perfectly with the Fox Engine, even with Kojima in the spotlight instead of Snake. Better watch that video of Kaz Miller running around before he loses his limbs in The Phantom Pain.

The most bizarre and entertaining of these model-swap videos comes in the form of Snake visiting Chico's prison cell. The two characters are switched, so it looks like Chico is rescuing Big Boss (but their voices are switched). It's weird watching Snake acting all emo, as if that's how he should have acted after The Boss died (warning: 10-year-old spoilers). Nevertheless, we're glad Ground Zeroes hit PC and can't wait to see what happens when The Phantom Pain does.
