We have the newest details about "Devastation," the newest piece of downloadable content for Call of Duty: Ghosts.

Xbox Live's Major Nelson has released new information about Call of Duty: Ghosts' Devastation DLC. First are details about Devastation's new maps, which include Ruins, an ancient Mayan mountaintop temple that has a volcano and various underground crevices; Behemoth, which is a gigantic bucket-wheel excavator that has multiple levels throughout the machine's massive interior;  Collision, the wreckage between a cargo ship and a New York bridge and Unearthed, which is based off of the Dome map from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.

Devastation also introduces the Ripper firearm. The Ripper can act as a medium to short-range Sub Machine-Gun and can also be adjusted to an Assault Rifle for further distances. The Extinction campaign continues the anti-alien campaign we saw started with the Onslaught DLC with Extinction Episode 2: Mayday. Be on the lookout for wall-crawling aliens and an alien boss the size of a skyscraper.

Call of Duty: Ghosts Devastation will be available for Xbox 360 and Xbox One on April 3, while the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PC will be gaining access to Devastation at a later date.
