World of Final Fantasy E3 Trailer: Cloud's Other Remake

The sights and sounds of Square Enix's top RPG series gets a chibi makeover in this adorable trailer for World of Final Fantasy.

At first glance, World of Final Fantasy might look like it's being marketed towards children. On the other hand, it's filled with enough adorable, nostalgic value that we shouldn't even care about what age its intended audience is, especially when children obviously wouldn't recognize who the heck Cloud Strife is. This Final Fantasy title has its own ATB-based combat system which will have some Pokemon-esque traits to it where you capture monsters and have them fight one another. You should expect a variety of characters and locations from various Final Fantasy games, but World will have its own lore, faces and locales.

World of Final Fantasy will debut sometime in 2016 for PS4 and PS Vita.
