Take on the Werewolf of Downwarren in This Witcher 3 Gameplay

This latest gameplay footage of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt features Geralt of Rivia saving a town from something that's killing its villagers in the surrounding areas.

Now that the group trying to manipulate Geralt in The Witcher 2 are all gone, Geralt is free to be a Witcher. This means that the white-haired monster-slayer will roam the world, going from town to town, slaying monsters and saving people. Mind you, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is an open world experience. Just as Geralt received the quest about the monster in the swamp from the scared villager (who looked like an unemployed Link), he was able to just run straight through town, into the trees, through the bog and find the monster killing all the villagers, which was actually a werewolf. Luckily, Geralt carries two swords for a reason -- one of them is silver. Even so, he's got plenty of magic spells he can use to burn the beast down.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will launch on Feb. 24 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
