Matt Stone and Trey Parker unveiled the superhero-themed RPG, South Park: The Fractured But Whole, during Ubisoft's E3 2015 conference.

An official sequel to South Park: The Stick of Truth is in developed. Surprisingly, the team responsible for the first game at Obsidian will not be handling the RPG. Instead, Ubisoft San Francisco will be developing this new adventure. While The Stick of Truth focused around Cartman and boys adhering to a fantasy/adventure theme, The Fractured But Whole is opening up to the superhero personas we saw in previous episodes of the series. This means that Cartman will be "The Coon, Kenny will be Mysterion and that weird kid will be Mint Berry Crunch once again. You can expect all the lewd and crude humor of the South Park franchise in full force, and we wouldn't want to play with The Fractured But Whole any other way.

While no launch window was set, South Park: The Fractured But Whole will be hitting PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
