This 90s-style trailer for Road Not Taken reminds us that camping in the woods can be both a puzzling and nostalgic experience.

Spry Fox has announced a late summer release date for its upcoming rogue-like puzzler, Road Not Taken. To commemorate this announcement, Spry Fox has released a trailer for the game paying tribute to the video game commercials of the late 80s and early 90s. Road Not Taken is a 2D puzzle game that revolves around life and loss. You must traverse the ever-changing, snowstorm-ravaged forest where you must find your own way out and survive the creatures you encounter in the wilderness. You play as a ranger who must survive and rescue children you find on your path who are lost in the forest. Road Not Taken features plenty of new twists, stories and relationships every time you play, offering a new experience with each journey into the woods.

Road Not Taken will be heading to PC and PlayStation 4 on Aug. 5. The PS Vita version of the game is set for a release later this fall.
