Neverwinter's Mount Hotenow is Hot Now

EDIT
|

The latest trailer and screenshots from the Dungeons & Dragons massively-multiplayer role-playing game, Neverwinter, have been released by Perfect World Entertainment. They feature the volcanic Mount Hotenow area, which looks like it could use an air conditioner or two.

In the past, the volcano was home to a great Primordial who almost destroyed the city of Neverwinter, burying it in flames and ashes. Much of what was damaged was rebuilt, but the mountain is still in the distance, huffing and puffing like an angry, lava-spewing deathwolf.

Mount Hotenow poses no real threat while it, and the Primordial that sleeps within, lies dormant. But now Fire Giants have come to awaken the Primordial and bring about flame and ruin once more. So Neverwinter responds by hitting the emergency button and sending out all of its heroes!

Watch the trailer below and check out the screens to see what you'll be up against when you try to take back the mountain in Neverwinter, due out in early 2013. You can sign up for the beta here, and even become a Hero of the North to receive a Founder's Pack full of extra goodies.

Let us know if you'll be jumping into this new MMORPG to save the city of Neverwinter!
