Star Trek is as popular as ever, and the new game Star Trek Online will keep Trekkies and Trekkers in the world they love for years to come. A couple of new expansion packs for the game that launched in January of 2012 will be coming out soon.

According to Polygon, the game's first expansion, Legacy of Romulus, will be released next month. To go along with the free expansion are two starter packs that gamers can purchase.

The first pack is the Starter Pack, which will cost $19.99. It comes with the the T'Varo Warbird Retrofit and T'Varo Light Warbird Romulan ships as well as a Liberated Borg Reman Bridge Officer. You also get an exclusive "Survivor of Romulus" title, whatever that means.

The next pack is the Legacy Pack, and there's a slight price hike with this one compared to the Starter Pack, so get out of the house and start mowing some lawns if you want to buy it. The Legacy Pack will run $124.99 and includes nine Romulan ships, the ability to play as the Remen, and various titles and master keys.
