Injustice: Gods Among Us Character Select Screen Leaks, Shows 24 Characters

Though most of the roster for Injustice: Gods Among Us has been revealed, the full 24-fighter roster has been kept under wraps by NetherRealm Studios. One of Warner Bros. Interactive's employees spoiled the mystery on Thursday.

In a tweet that has since been deleted (but saved for posterity by Shoryuken), WBI's Brandon Alexander posted a screenshot of the character select screen for Injustice. Though almost every single hero and villain had been confirmed previously, two new bad guys were discovered on the roster. Based on the image, Ares and Killer Frost (who was already suspected to make the cut) now appear to be all but officially confirmed for Injustice's final retail roster.

Both the hero and villain sides appear to be pretty evenly matched, with each hosting 9 men and 3 women fighters. We already know there is planned DLC coming with four new combatants, which would bring the game's full roster up to 28 characters.
