Make sure to pay your electricity bill, folks, because you won't want the lights to go out while you're playing the Dead Space 3 demo next month!

The demo will come out on January 15th, 2013 for the Xbox Live Marketplace. The PlayStation crowd will have to wait until January 22nd for the demo, but at least they'll be given a week to see how many Xbox gamers actually go crazy from playing. The delay is also beneficial because fans will be able to schedule therapy sessions ahead of time.

The demo will feature the new co-op mode, in which players will get to witness the dynamic between Isaac Clarke, the series' reluctant hero, and Sergeant John Carver. You can see a bit of how the co-op mode works in our article here.

The demo comes about a month ahead of the game's February 5th, 2013 release in North America and the February 8th European release, so fans will have plenty of time to get acquainted with dealing with their partners' madness.

If you've never played any of the games in the Dead Space series, or if you just need a refresher, check out the new story trailer below and let us know if you're excited to kick Necropmorh ass! They do have asses --- don't they?
