Those were hoping for a more traditional online shooting experience with Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare's weaponry are in for a treat.

MP1ST reports that Glen Schofield and Michael Condrey, the co-founders of Sledgehammer Games, have announced that there will be a multiplayer playlist in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare that will not feature the game's new Exo Suit or any of its abilities. This mode will play more in tune with the previous Call of Duty titles, putting an emphasis on cover. Advanced Warfare's Exo Suit allows you to dash, double-jump, melee harder and do plenty of other game-changing moves which provides some much-needed changes to Call of Duty's online gameplay.

“[We] also understand that some players may want to go back to a more traditional style,” Condrey said. “So, there’ll be a traditional playlist where you can play Team Deathmatch, Domination, Capture the Flag, and others without Boost Jump, without your Exo. So, you and your friends who want to play that way, we’ll have a playlist just for you.”

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is coming out on Nov. 4 for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PC.

Suit or no suit, Advanced Warfare better its gun sound effects right.
