With the hype surrounding Metal Gear Solid 5 continuing to escalate, it looks like Konami and Kojima Productions are readying another comprehensive collection of Metal Gear Solid games for release.

According to VG247, the Korean Ratings Board has classified a new game called the Metal Gear Solid Legacy Collection. There are no other details about the supposed game beyond the title, however a tweeted photo from Hideo Kojima himself may lend a bit more truth to the report.

Yesterday, Kojima tweeted a picture of a new piece of art, which could be the potential box art for the Legacy Collection. Every incarnation of Snake can be seen within the words Metal Gear Solid, including the PlayStation-era Snake from the very first Metal Gear Solid.

While this isn't exactly hard confirmation, a new collection of MGS games running from the PSOne all the way through Metal Gear Solid 4 on the PlayStation 3 would certainly be a nice addition to any MGS fan's library. Hopefully we won't have to wait long to find out just what Konami and Kojima have planned.
