Bethesda Ushers in Wolfenstein: The New Order

An all-new entry in the long-running Wolfenstein franchise is coming from Bethesda and MachineGames in late 2013.

Dubbed Wolfenstein: The New Order, this latest entry takes place in an alternate 1960, where the Nazis have won World War 2. You will again step into the shoes of BJ Blaskowicz, and launch a one-man war against the new regime.

“We are excited to bring a new chapter of Wolfenstein to gamers everywhere,” said Jens Matthies, creative director at MachineGames. “As fans of the series, working on this game is an honor, and our team is driven to create an unforgettable action-adventure experience that will make FPS fans proud.”

GameSpot had the exclusive trailer reveal, but you can check it out below. Wolfenstein: The New Order will be out on PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and next generation consoles near the end of the year.
