Watch Korra unite the elements better than Captain Planet ever did (heart never really counted) in The Legend of Korra.

Based on this gameplay video of The Legend of Korra, its star character will be able  to switch between the four elements to battle various enemies -- Platinum Games' Bayonetta-style. Korra's rock techniques are slow and hard hitting, resulting in huge rocks erupting from the ground and sending enemies flying. Her water attacks are weak, but are a lot faster and hit from a farther distance, striking like a pair of whips. Similar to how Prince Zuko was in the original series, fire attacks consist of various martial arts attacks with flames coming off of Korra's hands and feet. Air attacks have a further range and control larger areas -- Korra even has a Hurricane Kick attack.

Set 70 years after the events of 'Avatar: The Last Airbender', The Legend of Korra will tell the story of its corresponding spin-off series. Korra will unite the elements on PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo 3DS sometime by the end of the year. We should note that the 3DS game will not be as action-oriented compared to its console counterparts and is likely to have a later release date.
