One of the more surprising announcements from E3 2013, Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare took the popular mobile strategy game and dropped it smack dab in the middle of a chaotic third-person shooter. It shouldn't have worked, but here we are nearly a year later, and Garden Warfare is a charming title that envisions PopCap's classic in a whole new way. It's just too bad there isn't more to it.

You could barely turn a corner at Toy Fair 2014 without running into someone presenting some new form of video game merchandise. One of the surprise reveals at the show though happened to be Diamond's new Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare line.
Announced during E3 2013, Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare puts a new spin on the popular franchise by putting you in the shoes of the various plants or zombies on a battlefield of rural landscapes. Though PopCap and EA had been secretive about its release date, we now know when Garden Warfare will release on the Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
