Ubisoft has revealed the first DLC pack for Trials Fusion, entitled Riders of the Rustlands. This pack will be the first of six DLC updates scheduled over the next year.

Riders of the Rustland will include ten new tracks, and is set in the Rustlands, which exist just outside of the polished, futuristic city that hosts most of the game. The new tracks include six classic Trials tracks, two Supercross tracks, one new skill game, entitled Laws of Motion, and one new FMX track, called The Gauntlet. Each classic Trials track contains three Track Challenges, ranging from secret locations to minigames, including a game show where riders compete against penguins. Dozens of new track editor objects are also included.

Five dollars will get you the Riders of the Rustlands DLC when it releases on July 29, but Season Pass members will get it as part of that deal, as well as the next DLC pack, entitled Empire of the Sky, which will launch sometime this summer. This second pack looks to return to the gleaming, high-tech city, and will include nine new tracks. Future DLC packs will be coming, with titles like Welcome to the Abyss, Fire in the Deep, Fault One Zero and After the Incident, and all of them will be free to Season Pass members.

Trials Fusion is one of our favorite games of 2014, but we have to admit it’s been a while since we hopped on our Foxbats and pulled off a Front Flip Underdog/Polevault. This new DLC pack will definitely get us back into the game, and the future updates should keep Trials Fusion fresh for quite a while.
