Our favorite, mechanized Shadow-fighter is the focus of this latest trailer for Persona 4 Arena Ultimax.

Back from her fight with Shadow self and her transformation into the Ariadne Fortune Arcana, Labrys returns in Persona 4 Arena Ultimax. While we're glad to see her back, the staggering amount of Japanese text in the trailer left us clueless as to what Labrys will be up to in Ultimax. Like last time, Labrys will also be carrying her massive, electronic axe, labrys to battle (why couldn't they think of a better name). The fighting in Persona 4 Arena Ultimax looks like it's right on par with the quality of the Guilty Gear or BlazBlue series.

Persona 4 Arena Ultimax is the fighting sequel to Persona 4 Arena. When Inaba City gets encased in a thick, red fog that causes murders to happen within it, the SEES crew from Persona 3 and the Investigation Team from Persona 4 both take it to the streets in order to stop the killings and find out what's triggering these Persona-induced deaths.

Based on the trailer, Persona 4 Arena Ultimax will be hitting PlayStation 3 first on Aug. 28 in Japan. Ultimax's Western release (along with its Japanese Xbox 360 release) will probably be happening later on this fall, but we'll probably find out more at E3.
