We're a little under four weeks away from the release of Mortal Kombat X, and we've finally got a look at Goro in action. You've been forewarned about the guy with muscular forearms on his four arms.

Shoryuken has posted some screenshots that were linked to the in-game achievements of Mortal Kombat X, revealing a few new details about the game. These screenshots pretty much confirm that Jax Briggs will be a playable character along with the new gunslinger character, Erron Black. We've also got a look at Shinnok and Goro that was not  taken from a cutscene but from the actual fighting engine. Cassandra Cage's alternate outfit looks pretty tame, and we're hoping that the other bonus costumes that the characters will have will be a bit more out there than this.

Last week, NetherRealm Studios celebrated Friday the 13th by announcing that Jason Voorhees was going to be one of the guest characters you can add to Mortal Kombat X's roster via DLC. We've also heard through the grapevine that Predator and Spawn could also be added to the list of playable MKX fighters as well. Here's to hoping they bring back Freddy Kruger so we can have a official rematch between Freddy vs. Jason.

Mortal Kombat X will debut on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on April 14. Unfortunately, High Voltage Software's ports of MKX for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 have been delayed to the Summer.
