If you're tired of staring at the back of Talion's shaggy head while playing Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, then Warner Bros. Interactive has some good news for you in the form of a new female lead.

Kotaku has revealed Shadow of Mordor's free DLC, which will star a female warrior from Nurn. This new, silent fighter is Lithariel, the Warrior Commander of the Tribesmen of Nurn. Unfortunately, this DLC is just a skin for Talion, which doesn't give you any new skills. The DLC also won't be changing any of the game's plot or cutscenes (they will still star Talion), but it does offer some gameplay variety for free.

After downloading the new DLC, you will be tasked with answering the age old question: do blondes really have more fun. The answer is yes, especially when you're slaying thousands of orcs.

You can play Middle-earth: Shadows of Mordor now on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC. The Lithariel DLC skin is only available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC versions of the game.
