What a lovely day to dine and watch this new trailer for the upcoming apocalyptic action game, Mad Max.

Max Rockatansky is back in the wasteland with an all new trailer for Mad Max. While we've gotten a gameplay trailer from Avalanche Studios in the past, we were hoping for another one here as well since we're less than three months away from the game's release. The last gameplay trailer displayed spliced-together clips that featured only a few seconds of in-game footage at a time (which this trailer does a couple of times). We just hope there aren't any major gameplay or frame rate issues in Mad Max that these cutscene-focused trailers are trying to cover up. Nevertheless, Avalanche Studios is staying true to Max's roots. Gameplay is all about survival and foraging for supplies. There will be melee combat and vehicular combat, as Max and his newfound friend will be doing various upgrades to your vehicle based on your own preferences. If you want your car to be about pure speed, you can make it that way. If you want a tank that can survive attacks and run over raiders with ease, feel free. Nevertheless, we just hope we get to see more footage before Max leaves the Thunderdome.

Mad Max will enter the wastelands on Sept. 1 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, which is the same release date as Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.
