This Japanese MMORPG is departing from the Land of the Rising Sun, due for a Western release.

Aaron Hearn, lead programmer at CyberStep, Inc., has announced on the PlayStation Blog that the massively multiplayer online role-playing game, Onigiri, is due for a European and North American debut on PlayStation 4. Known for the online games GetAmped2 and CosmicBreak, CyberStep has made an action-oriented MMORPG that is filled with demonic Youkai and takes place in an alternate universe based on Japanese mythology. Onigiri is filled with babes, steel and Japanese demons; what more could you ask for?

Onigiri has just debuted this past January in Japan and already has 500,000+ players online. CyberStep intends to announce its Western release date sometime this summer. Best of all, Onigiri is going to be a subscription-less, free-to-play MMORPG exclusive for PlayStation 4.
