Injustice: Gods Among Us Trailer Shows Harley Quinn Dropping the Hammer

The latest trailer for Injustice: Gods Among Us gives us a look at a little of Harley Quinn's story in the game. She takes over as leader of the Joker Clan, but we'll have to see if she's truly done with all of the clownin' around.

The Joker's main squeeze seems to have turned over a new leaf and is fighting on the heroes' side, at least until the Clown Prince of Crime returns to Gotham. But if the trailer is anything to go by, this isn't the little Harley that always got pushed around all of the time and took the Joker's abuse.

The trailer shows off a lot of Harley's pistol combos, alternate outfits, and glimpses of her story. She looks to be just as acrobatic as one would expect and she actually fights Mistah J, proving that she's changed. Whether or not that transformation will hold true in the game proper is left to be seen, since Harley has a history of always falling back in love with the Joker.

Watch her trailer and look out for the game when it drops on April 16th, 2013 for Nintendo Wii U, Xbox 360, PC, and PlayStation 3.
