This video montage of DC Comics' presence at WonderCon tells us that a much-needed addition is happening for the mobile edition of Injustice: Gods Among Us.

NetherRealm Studios' mobile-based, superhero fighting game, Injustice: Gods Among Us, is finally getting the multiplayer update we were always hoping for. The original Injustice: Gods Among Us mobile edition only featured single-player gameplay while including collectible card aspects to help ease the game's transition to the iOS and Android platforms.

Since the console and handheld counterparts to Injustice already include online multiplayer, we were saddened to see that the mobile version only had AI-controlled opponents for you to fight against. Luckily, this DC Comics trailer from WonderCon let us know that multiplayer is indeed hitting Gods Among Us' mobile edition, which recently received Darkseid as a mobile-exclusive character. Unfortunately, NetherRealm has yet to hint as to when we can expect this multiplayer update.
