Playing Grand Theft Auto V through the first-person perspective of Franklin on the Oculus Rift looks pretty darn spectacular.

Kotaku reports that YouTuber Falandorn has taken it upon himself to transfer Grand Theft Auto V to the Oculus Rift. Sorta. He posted a clip on his YouTube channel that shows what it looks like to take a motorbike ride on Grand Theft Auto V using the Oculus Rift. If you're wondering how he did this, he took the vorpX program, which is meant to convert normal PC titles into VR games, and the Oculus Rift Dev Kit 2 and combined their strengths to feel the wind rush through his hair (virtually at least).

Falandorn wasn't the only one who thought that experience Los Santos through the Oculus Rift would be awesome. There is another video from ImmersiveGamer83 that shows what it would look like to stroll through town that you can see below. ImmersiveGamer83 has quite a few YouTube videos that showcase what the game looks like on the Oculus Rift, which is pretty cool because he explains that the game has since been updated on the device to make it more playable. Grand Theft Auto V for Oculus Rift is something that a lot of people are interested in, so it will be interesting to see where it goes.

We'd love for the Project Morpheus headset to have GTA V support on PS4.
