I think it's pretty safe to say that we're all eagerly anticipating the release of Arkham Knight this fall, but for some of us, October is way too long to wait for the thrill of Batman punching people right in the face. Sure, you could play through the first two games again, but why bother? There's an overlooked classic out there that will provide you with all the bat-punching you need: Batman: The Brave and the Bold for Nintendo DS.

Video Game Reboots and Remakes: What (Not) to Do
Reboots and remakes have become dirty words around Hollywood; phrases to denote soulless cash-ins from bloated producers looking to mine a buck off of our collective nostalgia. The video game industry isn't immune to the lucrative lure of similar projects, which is why we've seen so many revivals of long-forgotten projects as of late. While Hollywood seems mostly content to regurgitate homogenized versions of our favorite franchises, video game remakes and reboots are a much more mixed bag. Some are resounding successes, tapping into what was great about the original while finding something new, and others are... well, not.

Here we are, just a few weeks into the new year, and Arcade Sushi is going through some major changes. I can honestly say, I didn't think there'd be a day when I'd have to write an open letter introducing myself as the new editor of Arcade Sushi. Well, at least not so soon. I'm Luke Brown. Pleased to meet you.

Opinion: Get a Wii U for the Holidays
Its holiday shopping season, and that means that friends, loved ones, frantic uninformed parents, and kids with too much holiday spending cash are going to swarm retail outlets looking to buy a next-generation console. The Xbox One and PS4 are wait listed and people are going as far to try their luck on eBay and Craigslist to try and get them. This has resulted in some less than favorable transact

Opinion: Stop Complaining and Learn to Play Killer Instinct
Killer Instinct is quickly becoming one of the most popular fighting games in the fighting game community. Unfortunately, as the popularity of the game grows the fanbase grows, and as the fan base grows the amount of people complaining about every little thing grows as well. The complaint of the day is combo breakers, specifically that they are too hard to do. While Killer Instinct certainly has f

Open up your brand new copy of Call of Duty: Ghosts. What do you find? Some ads. A downloadable content key if you pre-ordered it. Maybe a brief, “how to set this up” insert. But wait? Where’s the manual? OK, what about Japanese games like Tales of Xillia? You get a DLC voucher, a limited edition soundtrack… but no manual? You can buy nearly every new release for every new console and you will be

During the launch of the last generation of consoles, I was working at a Gamestop, trying to make enough money to live, eat and drink beer. I was just out of college, so getting a PlayStation 3 or Wii for myself on day one was completely out of the question. I didn't know what it was like for those folks waiting in line, but it was sure easy for me to be cynical about the whole experience. They we
