2012 Arcade Sushi iOS Award Winners

Voting has ended and the gamers have spoken! We've got the results from our 2012 Arcade Sushi iOS Awards! Let's run down the winners!

We thought it would be a close race for the Best iOS Game of 2012 but Punch Quest beat the crap out of the other entries with 37% of the votes. The closest second was Angry Birds Star Wars with 22% of the votes. Lili got 1.99% of the votes. Sorry, Lili.

N.O.V.A. 3 cleaned house in the Best Graphics category with 31% of the votes. Dead Trigger came in second place with 18% of the votes.

The Best Puzzle Game category was a close one. Wimp: Who Stole My Pants just edged out Bad Piggies with 26% of the votes. Bad Piggies got 25%. So close, Rovio!

Bloons TD 5 kicked ass in the Best Tower Defense poll, snagging 63% of the votes. Kingdom Rush was in second with 30%. The big surprise in this category was Fieldrunners 2 bombing with only 1.76% of the votes. Wow.

Punch Quest continues its domination, earning the top spot in the Best Action Game category with 52% of the votes. N.O.V.A. 3 was a distant second with 15%.

Bastion squeaked by The World Ends With You: Solo Remix in the Best RPG game category. Bastion had 27% of the votes, with World getting 18%.

Who won for Best Endless Runner? No surprise here. Punch Quest was the winner with 59% of the votes. Temple Run: Brave took second place with 12%. Maybe one person voted for Chasing Yello. Ouch.

Angry Birds Star Wars does get its due, though. It took top honors in the Best Physics Game category, snagging 41% of the votes. Wimp: Who Stole My Pants was in second place with 22%.

The Best Free game of 2012 went to The Simpsons: Tapped Out with 28% of the votes. Heroes of Order & Chaos came in second with 18% of the votes.

The Best Sports Game was a close one between FIFA Soccer 13 and Need For Speed: Most Wanted. In the end, the soccer fans prevailed and FIFA kicked one past the keeper with 32% of the votes.

Best Adventure Game went to Walking Dead: The Game, which dominated the category with 57% of the votes. It's good to be a zombie in today's gaming world.

The Simpsons barely beat Plague, Inc. in the Best Simulation game category with 31% of the votes. Plague had 29%. Almost!

The Best Strategy Game of 2012 went to Great Big War Game with 22% of the votes. Devil's Attorney came in second place with 14%. Guess that's one lawyer who didn't have enough influence to sway the voters to go his way.

Wimp: Who Stole My Pants cleaned house in the Best Platform Game category with 40% of the votes. Rayman Jungle Run came in second place with 20% of the votes.

Let's close things up with the Worst Game of 2012. That honor goes to NFL Pro 2013, a crap game if we ever saw one. Madden 13 Social came in second place with 14% of the votes. Stop making pay-to-play football games!
