It's big news this week for iOS lovers, thanks to the release of Square Enix's iconic title Tomb Raider. For just 99 cents, players can relive their first moments as Lara Croft, and even if the heroine has aged a bit since 1996, who cares? Downloading a classic experience on the cheap should be a no-brainer, but sometimes frustration can overshadow a seductive price tag.

It sounds like Crystal Dynamics' Tomb Raider reboot may be getting new life early next year on next generation consoles, but publisher Square Enix is being coy about confirming the truth.

Getting reacquainted with Lara Croft was one of the highlights of the year. She's back with a brand new will to survive and an origin story more incredible than half of the adventurers out there. But, now it is time to take what the reboot had done and run with it, hard, right past all those temple traps and into the sequel...

Tomb Raider is gearing up for its spring fashion line, if these new downloadable content outfits that have just been leaked are any indicator. Well, if Lara's going to go through hell on Yamatai Island, she might as well do it in style.

Tomb Raider has been entertaining fans for a few weeks now, letting them run through a gritty reboot of Lara Croft's birth as an adventure on an island called Yamatai near Japan. It is strange, then, to think that there's no Japanese language pack available for the game. Square Enix seeks to remedy that problem, albeit at a somewhat premium price.

Tomb Raider has been out for a few weeks now, so we're willing to bet a majority of fans have already climbed their way to the finish line, scavenged for food and supplies, and helped turn Lara into the icon we know today. If not, then be warned that SLIGHT SPOILERS ARE AHEAD.
