Star Trek: The Video Game Trailer Shows a Shatner vs. Gorn Rematch

And they're both probably getting way too old for these awesomely cheesy face-offs, but it's totally cool to see the two of them fighting again in this trailer for Star Trek: The Video Game.

This hilarious match-up/reunion serves to give us a few laughs before checking out some of the trailer's in-game footage. It should tickle a lot of Trekkies, both young and old, to see Shatner battling the Gorn in the same exact way as he did in the 1967 Arena episode of Star Trek.

Of course, 40 years later, it would seem that both Shatner and the Gorn need a few moments for some breathers. Then we see the famous duel played out in the video game, albeit now starring a digital Chris Pine and a sleeker, more updated version of the Gorn, which is no longer a man in a suit.

The game is set for an April 23rd, 2013 release for PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. While we wait patiently for its debut, let's watch the happy reunion below!
