Star Trek: The Video Game's launch trailer has gone live, hopefully getting fans pumped up and ready to play through the prequel to Star Trek: Into Darkness.

A few new videos have been posted this week for Star Trek: The Video Game, highlighting the game's story and how it fits between the first and second film, and then introducing us to the stars of the films who lend their voices to give the game more authenticity.

And they're both probably getting way too old for these awesomely cheesy face-offs, but it's totally cool to see the two of them fighting again in this trailer for Star Trek: The Video Game.

Star Trek The Video Game is attempting to succeed on its own merits, and unlike most titles that are simply afterthoughts after watching movie, this shooter/space explorer has been three years in the making. But visually does it really go boldly where no gamer has gone before, especially with the recently released new images? See for yourself.
