After we compiled the list of the Best Disney iOS Games and the list of the Best iOS Movie Games, there was one more subcategory we'd largely left out; the Best iOS Pixar Games. Pixar movies have their own whole series of games, mostly based on Toy Story and Cars 2, but we'll take it. There are only a few Pixar games in the App Store so far, so let's count down the 7 Best iOS Pixar Games.

    Kicking off our our 7 Best Pixar Games list is this masterpiece of synergy. It's designed to be played with an actual Cars 2 toy (though it gives you a temp Lightning McQueen to play with if you don't own an actual toy). With the touch of your fingers, you move around the world of Cars. Races are actually quite thrilling, and you get to meet all the characters from the movies, upgrade your virtual car and complete quests.

    Toy Story 3: Operation Camouflage


    This is a fun brain teaser game with a Toy Story 3 skin. In several locations from the movie, you've got to spot a list of objects to help complete the little green soldiers' mission. Some of the items are actually really buried in there. It's a nice, quick way to get lost in the world of Toy Story.

    Monsters University: Catch Archie

    Based off of the popular sequel to Monsters Inc., Catch Archie tasks players with trying to grab Archie the Scare Pig and tiring him out. Play as Mike, Sulley, and Squishy in this really addicting, and fun, Pixar game.

    This is the quintessential Pixar game. A series of Toy Story themed minigames, Mania captures the spirit of the film. i.e. playing with toys! Tap and swipe to collect achievements and unlock more games and bonuses. Each game is themed to a movie's character, but they're also like theme park midway games. It's a miniaturized version of the popular California Adventure theme park ride.
