Movie-based video game adaptations are hardly a new thing. Occasionally, if separated far enough from the silver screen, the fruit of the labor turns out to be a pretty good adventure like Alien: Isolation. Sometimes, even games that end up coinciding with the release of a movie turn out to be surprise hits like 'X-Men Origins: Wolverine'. More often than not though, the games that come out of the movies we love turn out to be rushed out, underdeveloped heaps of garbage.

Whether it's trying to meet a deadline in time with the release of a movie or trying to cash grab on the success of an established product, ventures at adaptation have all too often produced some of the worst games ever seen. These games are some of the worst of the worst, the ones even the biggest fans of the source material found hard to love. These are the Worst Movie Video Games.
