A new blog update on the official Sims 4 website has detailed new content updates coming to the game for the rest of 2014, including one in November that will make a lot of players very happy.

October brings two major Halloween-themed additions with new 'Star Wars' costumes and the inclusions of ghosts to the Sim world. The ghosts of fallen Sim comrades can be enlisted to return to the world of the Sims, gaining new behaviors and attributes based on how they died, and the blog post teases a way to possibly bring them back to life. The new Star Wars costumes allow players to dress their Sims as Yoda, Darth Vader, Princess Leia, and Luke Skywalker's X-Wing pilot suit.

November's update will put smiles on many a Sim fanatic's face: "get your Sim-suits ready (too much pun? Sorry!) because pools will make their triumphant debut in The Sims 4." That's right, the swimming pools that so many fans lamented the loss of for some reason will finally be coming back. Finally, the December update teases new Career paths for the Sims in what the blog calls "Put-Your-Sims-To-Work Month."

That's a lot of free new content for those absorbed in the world of The Sims 4. We'll have more on the new features as they release, including the October Halloween updates which are available now.
