Telltale Tells King’s Quest to Take A Hike

King's Quest

It seems that Telltale Games has given up on adding their signature adventure game stamp to the King’s Quest Franchise. There will not be a new King’s Quest game coming from Telltale anytime soon.

In an interview with Digital Trends, Telltale’s Steve Allison said that, ”While we deeply love King’s Quest here at Telltale, we can confirm that we are no longer working on the franchise.” So, the lord of the adventure game are out of the running to make a new King’s Quest game. But, there is still a bit of hope for all you adventurous lads. Activision, the company that holds the rights to the franchise, is pursuing other avenues and developers for their titles, so we may still see another King’s Quest game yet.

It still would have been nice to see Telltale’s spin on the old franchise though. Would you play a new King’s Quest game?
