Strike Suit Zero, a PC title which debuted late January, is now unto its third patch, and it's a big one. Gamers can now switch between first person and third person cockpit view, and difficultly levels for the game have now been added.

The new update also gives players checkpoint saves in which players can exit a level but still pick up at their last checkpoint. A new targeting system gives players more control of their battle strategies, which is extremely important when blasting your enemies away in outer space. Programmer Carles Fernandez gives a quick preview of the targeting upgrade in the video below.

An homage to space combat games of the '90s but enlivened by the mechanics of today, it's great to see Born Ready Games quickly respond to audience feedback and criticism, especially since it's a Kickstarter backed project.
