Sony’s New PlayStation Headsets Look (and Sound) Swagnificient

Just in time for the already hard-to-get Destiny PlayStation 4 Bundle, Sony has unveiled some new stereo headsets to help you get your HD game on.

The PlayStation Blog has announced that Sony is releasing a new Glacier White version of the Gold Wireless Stereo Headset. This pretty earpiece is meant to be the perfect companion for that new, sleek Glacier White PlayStation 4 console which just debuted with Bungie's Destiny. This headset functions just like the PS4's Gold Wireless Stereo Headsets that debuted last February, but with a pretty makeover.

The Gold Wireless Stereo Headset's free companion app for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 has been updated with an exclusive Destiny Audio Mode. This new setting for your headsets will have your audio levels finely tweaked for the plethora of gunshots and lines of Peter Dinklage's dopey dialogue you'll hear throughout Destiny.

For those who are gaming on a tighter budget, the Silver Wired Stereo Headset has just been announced for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3. While it won't be as audibly crisp as its predecessor, it will still offer 7.1 virtual surround sound, a boom mic, breathable ear cushions and in-line volume/mic controls.

The Silver Wired Stereo Headset will launch later this fall for $69.99, while the Glacier White Wireless Headset is now available for $99.99.
