There once was a time when the name Uwe Boll was synonymous with video game movies. It was not a good time. However, in spite of the lack of success of these adaptations, Boll managed to fund several different film franchises based on relatively popular video game series. While some of the films made sense to bring to the big screen, no one was asking for the Postal movie to get made. Still, that didn't stop Boll from doing his best to make it one of the worst movies ever made. Let's take a look at the cast of 'Postal' to see where they were then, and if they've managed to still have a career now.

Then: Ward was unfortunate enough to land the lead role in 'Postal' of the "heroic" Dude. In true non-sensical fashion, he must take on everyone in the world, to steal a shipment of Krotchy Dolls so he and his uncle can sell them at a huge profit online. Of course, Al-Qaeda is also after the shipment because of course they are, so many shootouts ensue.

Now: You might remember him best as Scut Farkus, the bully from 'A Christmas Story,' but Ward's built up a pretty steady and solid (present film excluded) resume. Ward's had various roles on many television shows, including 'Dollhouse,' 'Hawaii Five-O,' and 'Warehouse 13.'

Dave Foley, Uncle Dave

Then: Clearly working on 'Postal' because Uwe Boll had footage of him doing some unspeakable things to animals he really wanted to, Dave Foley played Uncle Dave, the leader of a fake cult whose membership consisted mostly of attractive women.

Now: After 'Kids in the Hall' and 'News Radio,' Foley's kept busy on more series like 'Hot in Cleveland' and 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.'

JK Simmons, Candidate Wells

Then: JK Simmons was a conspiracy-spouting nut running for office. Funny enough, most of the nutball statements he made actually made more sense and seemed more possible than the plot of this movie.

Now: Simmons was able to shed the stink of 'Postal' off by appearing in 'Juno' and 'Rendition' in the same year. In addition to playing the hell out of J. Jonah Jameson in the Raimi 'Spider-Man' films, Simmons also lends his voice to animated shows like 'The Legend of Korra.'

Jackie Tohn, Faith

Then: Thon played a foul-mouthed, cranky barista who falls for the Dude, and aids him in taking on all comers in the final showdown.

Now: She's had a few bit roles on shows like 'Veronica Mars' and 'Rules of Engagement,' but Thon hasn't exactly been lighting up marquees since appearing in 'Postal.' Some people are just destined to have Uwe Boll ruin their lives, I suppose.

Chris Coppola, Richard

Then: Coppola (no relation) played Uncle Dave's close confidant, and helped orchestrate the entire heist at the center of the film.

Now: Coppola's career hasn't exactly been burgeoning, but he's managed to secure roles in 'Santa Paws 2,' 'Super Buddies' and 'Rizzoli and Isles.'

Verne Troyer, Himself

Then: Verne Troyer made his dramatic entrance after he was found inside an aluminum briefcase. Then he was used to help infiltrate Al-Qaeda. This movie is really bad, by the way.

Now: It's been a long time since Troyer's peak during the Austin Powers heyday, but he's still managed to find regular work either in roles where he plays himself, but outside of one episode of 'Two and a Half Men,' Troyer hasn't had much work as of late.

Larry Thomas, Osama Bin Laden

Then: Osama wanted to infect the Krotchy Dolls with bird flu to make all the children of the U.S. ill. This was how he planned to outdo 9/11. Remember kids, Uwe Boll wrote this hot mess of a film, and it was funded. Dreams do come true.

Now: It's very hard to not make a Soup Nazi joke here, but we're going to take the high road. Thomas has been working non-stop since this insanely insipid film debuted, and was most recently in 'Zero Dark Thirty' as Hamid Bin Al-Sheib.

Erick Avari, Habib

Then: Avari played Habib, the convenience store owner who was hosting some Al-Qaeda forces in the back of the business.

Now: You've probably seen him in more films than you can remember, as Avari has the distinct ability to play just about any Middle Eastern ethnicity when the role calls for it. You might recall him from 'The Mummy' and 'Stargate.'

Brent Mendenhall, George W. Bush

Then: Mendenhall played ol' G.W. with the gusto and aplomb one would expect from a movie where the former President is best buddies with Bin Laden, and they frolic in the sun while nuclear missiles destroy the country.

Now: The problem with being a celebrity impersonator is when that celebrity falls out of fashion, the work dries up. Mendenhall racked up a healthy library of roles as President Bush, but hasn't been up to much since appearing in 'Recount.'

Uwe Boll, Himself

Then: Uwe appeared as himself, and "joked" about using Nazi gold to fund his movies. He argues with the creator of Postal before being shot in the balls.

Now: Uwe Boll ruined video game franchise after franchise with his horrible adaptations. He actually just finished work on 'In the Name of the King 3,' the third in his series of Dungeon Siege films. Maybe there's some truth to that Nazi gold thing.
