A new trailer for Warner Bros.’ upcoming Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor has debuted. In this video, the game’s two principal actors, Troy Baker and Alastair Duncan, are interviewed about the game and their characters.

Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor’s protagonist, Talion, is portrayed by Troy Baker, a voice actor who has worked in the gaming industry since 2003, portraying memorable characters such as The Joker from Batman: Arkham Origins and Booker DeWitt from BioShock Infinite. Celebrimbor, a spectral Wraith, is played by Alistair Duncan, another veteran voice actor who was in 'The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo.' In the trailer, the two thespians talk about their characters in the game, and how they interact.

When Talion is resurrected at the beginning of Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, the first entity he meets is Celebrimbor, a mysterious, ghostly presence who shares Talion’s quest to defeat the dark lord, Sauron. The two characters are unique, with opposing opinions and feelings. They will have to not only work together, but actually merge into one being to complete certain objectives. As Baker states, Talion and Celebrimbor’s relationship is the core of the story.

Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor is due for a September 30 release on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.
