Level-5 is considering bringing Yo-Kai Watch to the U.S. and with its recent trademark applications, it seems like it's only a matter of time.

According to Gematsu, Level-5's popular Yo-Kai Watch series may finally be making the jump stateside. After trademarking "Yo-Kai Watch" back in January, the team at Level-5 is back at it again with two new trademark applications -- one for "Whisper" and one for "Jibanyan". Whisper and Jibanyan are two of the main characters in the popular Japan-only role-playing game that Level-5 is looking to bring to the U.S. in 2015.

The 3DS-only game first came out in Japan in July 2013, and its sequels came out in July and December of this year. There have also been trademarks for clothing and accessories that are in the game, though we hope we see the game and not just t-shirts at retail.

We'll just have to keep a look out for future Yo-Kai Watch updates since Level-5 has yet to announce any formal plans to bring the franchise to the West.
