God of War: Ascension Collector’s Edition and Pre-order Bonus Details

The official PlayStation blog has graced us with some mana from heaven, giving us mere mortals details about the God of War: Ascension Collector's Edition and some pre-order bonuses.

The Collector's Edition of Ascension features a pretty beefy box that includes an exclusive Kratos statue and a premium steelbook case, both of which you'll be able to show off on your gaming shelves. The CE also includes the game's soundtrack, double experience points for multiplayer, a pass for future downloadable content, a dynamic theme for the PS3, and a PSN avatar pack. This handsome set will be all yours for a price of $79.99.

Those who pre-order will receive the Mythological Heroes Multiplayer Pack, which gives players access to heroic figures such as Persues, Orion, Achilles, and Odysseus. Ten bucks says we know where you can hit Achilles for maximum damage.

The game will be released on March 12, 2013, so you have some time to sleep on it. But act quickly, because legends may last forever, but the quantities of the Collector's Edition surely won't.
