Disney's Planes

Disney Interactive announced today that they will release Disney’s Planes, a video game inspired by the upcoming animated film of the same name, on August 6th. The title will come out on the Nintendo Wii, Wii U, 3DS, and the Nintendo DS. Wait, what about the GameCube??

Disney’s Planes has gamers hitting the skies as Dusty, a kindhearted crop duster who’s voiced by Dane Cook. Other talent who lend their voices to the game include Anthony Edwards as Echo and Val Kilmer as Bravo.

The console version enables gamers to play as one of ten cast of characters in three different modes – Story, Free Flight, and Air Rallies. Players who try out Disney’s Planes on the handheld version can embark on 40 different challenges and play as one of 6 possible characters. The Challenge mode is only offered through the handheld platforms.

As for the film, Disney’s Planes opens nationwide August 9th.
