The comedic 2013 superhero action title Deadpool will be launching this November for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The Merc With a Mouth's Devil May Cry-style action game is making a return to celebrate the Deadpool movie coming to theaters next February. Unfortunately, Activision did not reveal if this was just a port or if this is an HD remaster. While some of you might think there's no difference, there certainly is. HD remasters tend to have their graphics optimized using the increased power of current-gen consoles. A fine example would be comparing The Last of Us Remastered to Dishonored Definitive Edition.

The current-gen versions of Deadpool will feature all of the original game's downloadable content, which includes two Challenge Maps (GRT Plaza and Inside the Tower), as well as some bonus outfits. These costumes include the D-Pooly and Uncanny X-Force costumes that you can use in Infinite Mode. Deadpool was one of the first games I ever reviewed here at Arcade Sushi. While it was one of the funniest games I've ever played, it certainly had its faults. Nevertheless, you'll get your chance to play it this November in case you missed it the first time around.

Deadpool will launch on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One starting Nov. 17 for $49.99, which is a pretty steep price, especially if this game is a port and not an HD remaster. Most games that make the jump from last-gen to current-gen are usually a good $10 or $20 cheaper.
